Napier Prison and Audiotourz

Napier Prison provides audio tours daily from 9am-5pm. Before the introduction of Audiotourz, visitors arriving outside of the four daily tour times faced either a long wait or were turned away. Since the introduction of Audiotourz, Napier Prison has been able to capture each visitor who arrives, regardless of the time.

Audiotourz make up to 90% of Napier Prison's revenue during busy periods and typically make up 30 to 60% of the prison's overall revenue. The introduction of Audiotourz has even increased the number of visitors on the prison's guided tour, while allowing tourists to choose which tour they are interested in – ghost or historical. Increased revenues and availability of staff due to the popularity of Audiotourz has allowed the firm to improve its tours, increase its brand presence and generate more interest in its tours.

The prison’s historical tour is now provided in 15 languages, which is an indication of our ability to meet the needs of our clients.
